The legends are true! I have been hearing about these Chaiya Phum "Star Gems" for years! Never seen one and even thought it was just local folklore. Last week, I was offered a bag of black stones to look at, what locals simply call "Saket Dao" or directly translated as "Drops from the Stars". Immediately seeing them, they can clearly be indentified as a bag of normal Indochine Tektites. Little did i know, i had these amazing yet incredibly beautiful Chaiya Phum Star Drops in my hands!

The Chaiya Phum "Star Drop" is considered a sacred element and is so rare that very few people have seen it. Those who fins them keep them as a tailman or amulet. Some believe that it is a mythical stone whose reference can be found in religious scriptures.
